MBB Halloween Costume Ideas

Halloween is on the horizon, and if you have little ones that are looking forward to a night of fun, we suggest you start looking around for costumes now. While some little ones may already know what they want to be, there are still many that haven’t decided or perhaps haven’t even thought about it yet.

With so much going on in their little lives, it’s not uncommon for both them and you to put the Halloween costumes off until the last minute. That’s why we thought we would give you some ideas now that may make things easier later.

Thankfully, there are so many great characters and costumes to choose from, most of which are based on movies and TV shows that kids have come to adore. With that in mind, we did some looking around ourselves and tried to come up with a list of some of the most popular/trendy costume ideas for this year.

After coming across a vast amount of great costume ideas, we were able to narrow our list down to 10 favorites that we think you and your trick-or-treater will love. Some of the characters/costumes on this list may look familiar, while others might not since there are a few that come from newer movies, games, etc.

We’ll begin with one that most will recognize.

CRUELLA

Cruella

“Cruella De Vil
Cruella De Vil
If she doesn't scare you
No evil thing will
To see her is to
Take a sudden chill
Cruella, Cruella De Vil”

Cruella De Vil is one of the most recognizable Disney characters/villains out there. The character’s popularity has grown since the release of the classic 101 Dalmatians. And with the recent release of Cruella (2021), the prequel film based on an earlier version of the fiendish fashion designer, it’s safe to assume that there will be a lot of Cruella De Vils strutting around this year.

RAYA
Raya

“What can I say? Bling is my thing.”

Raya is the main character of the 2021 Disney film, “Raya and the Last Dragon”. This film has become quite popular among Disney fans and those who enjoy a high-flying fantasy adventure. So, don’t be surprised if your little one asks you to get this for them...if they haven’t already.

BLACK WIDOW
Black Widow

“At Some Point, We All Have To Choose Between What The World Wants You To Be And Who You Are.”

Based on the brave and beautiful heroine from the Marvel Universe, this Black Widow costume is an excellent choice for those who share a love for the character and what she stands for. Black Widow appears in many comic books and films, such as The Avengers, Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, and more recently, Black Widow.

GHOSTBUSTER
Ghost Busters

“If there's something strange
In the neighborhood
Who you gonna call? (Ghostbusters)
If there's something weird and it don't look good
Who can you call? (Ghostbusters)”

This is a classic that many will remember. GhostBusters has been a fan favorite for Halloween costumes since the original film was released back in 1984. Since then, the film series has been revamped and featured both male and female busters, making it perfect for both little guys and gals looking to do some ghost hunting.

WONDER WOMAN
Wonder Woman

“You are stronger than you believe. You have greater powers than you know.”

Wonder Woman will probably always make the list for best Halloween costumes, especially since the new movies came out. The character has been an inspiration for little warrior princesses everywhere. Halloween is the best time for them to dawn the tiara and sword that gives them the Amazonian strength that they’ve always wanted.

SPACE JAM: A NEW LEGACY
Space Jam

“You can't be great without putting in the work.”

MBB is a sporty company, which is why we thought this costume/uniform would fit right in with some of the items that we produce. A Space Jam basketball uniform may not seem like a “costume”, per se, but it’s definitely worth it for those who loved the movie(s) and its characters. The coolest thing about this costume is that it can be worn on more than one occasion...not just Halloween.

AMONG US
Among Us

“There is 1 impostor among us.”

Among Us is an online multiplayer game that many have played and liked since it came out back in 2018. Anonymity is the key part of the game since it involves suspicion and uncovering the identity of the impostor that is looking to sabotage the other crew members. It’s for that reason that the characters are only distinguishable by colors, which means that the costumes are great for both boys and girls. Just make sure that they don’t act too ‘sus’ when going from house to house.

HARRY POTTER

Harry Potter

“Wingardium Leviosa!”

This costume shouldn’t need much of an introduction. You may have dressed up as a student of witchcraft and wizardry yourself in the past. If so, you’ve probably passed down the love for Harry Potter and its characters to your little ones as well. Just remind them to swish and flick from time to time.

POKEMON

Pokémon

“Squirtle”

If you’ve been finding Pokémon cards and Pokeballs around the house, then this might be a great Halloween costume for your little one. Whether it’s as Squirtle, Charmander, Eevee, or Pikachu, a costume like this can be a dream come true for all the passionate little Pokémon players.

POWER RANGER

Power Ranger
“They've got a power and a force that you've never seen before
They've got the ability to morph and to even up the score
No one will ever take them down
The power lies on their side”

Here’s another costume based on characters that you may also be familiar with. Power Rangers go back a long way for both boys and girls, which is what makes this a satisfying and safe choice for Halloween.

If you liked any of the costume ideas on this list, you can find them available on Amazon, Walmart.com, Target.com, PartyCity.com, etc. One other thing to consider is the temperatures in your city this time of year. If cooler nights are on the forecast for this month, through Halloween, then we suggest you have a look at some of the items in our collection. Some pieces can be used and worn underneath the costumes to keep your little one warm. Just a suggestion.

We’ll talk again soon!

Sincerely,

Monkeybar Buddies
